Every time title changes hands a transfer document is completed and filed at the county courthouse. This document contains information about a transfer of ownership. Each state varies as to what is provided.
ILLINOIS
Also know as a form PTAX 203, the document for Illinois is called a Transfer Declaration. Besides what is published in section 2 of the bulletin, valuable information included on this form is:

WISCONSIN
eRETR is an Electronic Wisconsin Real Estate Transfer Return, also known as Form PE-500. Since this form is used to convey title to real estate the additional information included on this form is:
- Seller and buyer name and address
- Property legal description (first 200 characters)
- Physical property address
- Official parcel number
- Preparer information
